DC Richard head

June 25th to July 7th

Summary

Murder! Conspiracy? Audience participation?!

4 officers have been found dead and DC Richard Head suspects foul play. Though DC Head is no one’s first choice to solve the mystery, he is none the less… here. But it seems like there’s more than just office politics at play. In fact he suspects that it was someone in the audience! Follow a colourful cast
of characters as they deduce, dictate, and decide who is telling porkies in a one man romp through your favourite cop cliches.

Help or hinder our hero as he attempts to uncover a truth that may land you in jail!

Achievements

DC Richard Head was affiliated with ReportOUT during its production run and we were honoured to promote the brilliant work that ReportOUT is doing to report on and defend the rights of gender and sexual minorities around the world. DC Richard Head was also nominated for a Standing Ovation Award and we are incredibly proud of the amazing creative team we had on this project.

Let Loose Sid

May 28th to June 8th

Summary

Sid has experienced loneliness, grief, trauma, and homelessness since their mother went into a coma and, more recently, the death of their father. After finally finding a somewhat stable footing in life, they find their mother’s old dream journal. Sid discovers that lucid dreaming is much more than just a quirky anomaly of the night - it’s a superpower. Battling with the dangers of this newfound talent, Sid learns to push the limits of their dreaming abilities and must ultimately make the biggest decision of their life.

Achievements

The production of "Let Loose Sid" had a remarkable run at the Barons Court Theatre in London. We proudly partnered with James' Place, an organization that offers free, life-saving treatment to suicidal men. Through our efforts, we were able to donate the money we raised to support Ollie, who is running 12 marathons in 12 months for James' Place. The production also received fantastic reviews, further highlighting its success and impact.

The Good, The Bad, The silly

April 13th to April 28th

Summary

An outlaw in the Wild West stumbles upon a peculiar saloon run by a wacky barman. As eccentric characters enter the saloon one-by-one, the outlaw and his new-found assistant must discover the truth behind the Saloon’s mysterious effects, despite everyone’s lack of memory. Absurd comedy turns to religious despair in this wacky slapstick adventure; can the cowboy in the black hat connect the dots or will the Saloon swallow these drifters for good?

Achievements

The production of "The Good, The Bad, The Silly" had a successful run at the Garlinge Theatre in Kent, proudly marking a milestone as the first vegan theatre in England. Throughout its run, we successfully delivered free workshops to schools in Kent, enriching the local community with accessible arts education. Additionally, we raised enough funds to enable the Tankerton Dancing Academy to put on a show for free. We are excited to see the incredible performance they will present.

Furthermore, we supported the Kent MS Therapy Centre by having donation buckets at every show. We are grateful to our generous audience for their contributions, which provided valuable support to this important cause.

Achievements

We were thrilled to announce our partnership with White City Theatre Project for our production of 'The Good, The Bad, The Silly'. As part of this collaboration, we invited the children from their youth theatre to join us on stage each night, adding an extra element of excitement to our show. The nine children that joined our cast over the course of the show had a brilliant time and showed true bravery and commitment. It was a pleasure to worm with all of them and to be able to provide a memorable and valuable experience on stage in the role of ‘Prospector’. We encourage you to visit WCTP’s website to learn more about the fantastic work they are doing.
